Week 6

Ben Roethlisberger had a great game throwing for 302 yards and two touchdowns; though he was holding the ball too long and lost one fumble. However, the running game was ineffective in the second half. Maybe it was due to the fact Flozell Adams was injured or credit should go to the good Dolphins defense. Hines Ward had an outstanding game, and Mike Wallace is becoming the deep threat they needed since the trade of Santonio Holmes.

The defense held the Dolphins to one touchdown and five field goals.  It was done despite the losses of Aaron Smith and Lamar Woodley to injuries.  Emmanuel Sanders fumbled the opening kickoff, but returned another 48 yards to set up the game winning field goal by Jeff Reed.  The controversial fumble on the goal line, after seeing it on replay, was hard to determine who had possession. This 23 to 22 win makes the Steelers 5 and 1 going to next Sunday’s night game versus the New Orleans Saints at the Louisiana Superdome.
