Barry and Friends

The Barry Bonds perjury trial is continuing in San Francisco; and it will be tough to prove that Bonds lied to the feds about his alleged steroid use. Regardless of what happens in court, Bonds should not be immune from punishment from baseball. There is a clause in the commissioner duties called ‘in the best interest of baseball;’ Bud Selig could use that clause to give Bonds, Mark Mcgwire, Sammy Sosa, Rafael Palmeiro, and Roger Clemens a lifetime ban from the sport. This would also make them ineligible for the Hall of Fame, and that would be the worst punishment of all.
