Game 2 Vs Flyers

The Penguins scored two power plays goals, but gave up two shorthanded goals in an 8 to 5 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.  Sean Couturier and Claude Giroux had three goals in the game.   Jaromir Jagr had the game winning goal with 9:13 into the 3rd Period.   The Penguins had leads of 2-0, 3-1, 4-3, and 5-4 but they are going into game 3 Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia trailing 2 games to none.     Giving up 8 goals is inexcusable because they have to play their game instead of the Flyers type of hockey.    They have overcome 2 to 0 deficit against the Washington Capitals and in the Stanley Cup Finals versus the Detroit Redwings in 2009.    The Penguins can still win this series, but they can’t have defensive lapses, give up short-handed goals, and Evgeni Malkin has to play great on Sunday.    Sidney Crosby has 2 goals and 2 assists in the series so far his play has been good.     Marc-Andre Fleury has to bounce back Sunday after having two bad games, plus more secondary scoring from the 3rd and 4th line guys.      Game 3 will be the biggest game for the season for the Penguins and a win can turn this whole series around in their favor.    If not this season could end sooner than they wanted.
