Coach Barry

Barry Bonds might be returning to the San Francisco Giants as a hitting instructor during Spring Training.    Team President Larry Baer told the San Francisco Chronicle there were discussions but right now nothing is imminent.    How could the Giants let him return as an instructor or as a coach.     He was not a very good teammate and being about himself.  That is the opposite of what a coach is about.   Being a coach is about sharing your knowledge, being unselfish, and patience with people.   Why would the Giants bring back someone who was a major headache during his career.  In December, Bonds was sentenced to 2 years probation and 250 hours of community service for misleading grand jurors in the BALCO steroids trial.   The reason he wants to be a coach is to improve his image and wanting to get into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
