Week 9 VS Chiefs

This game was not an artistic masterpiece, but the Steelers will take the 16 to 13 overtime victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.    They paid a heavy price in the win as quarterback Ben Roethlisberger suffered a shoulder injury, and safety Ryan Clark suffered a concussion late in the game.   The defense gave up 142 yards rushing, and held Matt Cassel to 154 yards passing. The defense played well enough to win, getting two sacks, and a Lawrence Timmons interception that set up Shaun Suisham’s game winning 23 yard field goal in overtime.   The running game was sub par because the Chiefs played great defense, and the offensive line had a lousy game.   Byron Leftwich had a decent game, but he was hampered by dropped passes.   The Steelers are 6 and 3 going into next sunday night game against the Baltimore Ravens at Heinz Field with kickoff at 8:20 P.M
